You must plan your trip for either early in the day or later by the afternoon, but nothing really beats a face full of dust while you are on your Las Vegas Off Road quest riding a 4×4 jeep or an ATV. There are several day trips that you may consider just outside the Vegas and is one great way to see the desert, particularly if you have flown in.
